Well we have made it thru another week of preschool..The first two day were not pretty..Rebecca cried all night and told us that there were moo moo's at the school ( this is the word Rebecca uses for something scary )..We did not want to tell her that there were no moo moo's at the school so we took the approach that the teacher would get rid of the moo moo's. The 1st week we had to bring a blanket and pillow for her to have nap time. She then told us that her pillow was gone. So as you can see she is trying to give us all the reasons why she can't go to school. Anyway I took her on Friday went in with her for a bit and then told her I was going and she seemed fine. When I came back later in the day to get her she was not crying and I was so pleased the other kids were yelling bye to her and she was very happy. I know all this can change from day to day but I take all the good days we can get. ..She was very tried tonight and went right to sleep and even said Rebecca tired WOW she has never said that before...There are some good things about school LOL...

Well this is week 2 of preschool and the cracks are starting to show. Rebecca was playing on a push car in the play ground when she saw Dad coming she jumped off the car and ran towards Gino only to be met by a little boy already running. The outcome a big tumble a cut knee and a little girl that cried most of the evening. ( the fact that she was exhausted didn't helped). She told us that she was not going back to school ( that could be a problem) lol..anyway tomorrow she will have to return so here's hoping that she forgot her spill. Today she has also asked for Juliet several times.....Alot of adjusting in such a short period of time...I am hoping that after a month or so we all settle in to a nice routine...I will keep you posted

Well our 1st day of preschool came and went and it was very uneventful. We were a little nervous as we have not left Rebecca anywhere before and walked away. Rebecca took the whole day in stride and when we got to school she said goodbye and walked away. A little tear would have been nice but nothing just bye. I am glad it was a great experience for her....I tried that morning to get a couple of pictures but I think she is tired of my Camera...

Wanting to get a picture of her backpack she thought that was funny...

Can you believe its been 2 years since our referrals and soon our 2 year anniversary. This is not the best picture of our girls but if you click on it and blow it up it will clearly show how they have grown. Gino and I talk about our journey all the time and are so happy with our little girl as I am sure you all are. I remember Bob's call that night after Julie and I drove him crazy that day and following this package on line to see where it was. When we finally could talk to Bob I just could not I was a wreck. Gino always believed that because we were older that our baby would be 18 mths approx. So when Julie spoke to Bob and her little baby was 8 mths old I was wishing in my heart that my baby would be also that young also but did not say a word. Getting this chance again to be a mom was all I could ask for so when I heard Gino ask Bob twice to repeat the age I was not sure what that meant. My sister in law was on the extension and said Carolyn she's a baby I just looked and said how old she said 9mths I was in heaven. Gino on the other hand had a look of shock. I thought he might faint. I want to share a quick note about the lady bug..( I know Julie you hate them ) but for me it was different. I had read a story saying that the lady bug was a sign that god was watching over your baby. So one very cold winter night _25 or so something crawled across the floor. I got up to see what it was and it was a lady bug..this was not long after we got log in. I was shocked to see this bug in the cold and was sure god had sent it to me. Rebecca was born on Nov 27, 2004 we were approved by the Ministry on Nov 19 2004. Weird now to think that so far away a little girl was born a week later and was to be ours....To all the waiting families I know how hard it is but when your time comes you will know it is the perfect time. Well here we are 2 years later and I would not ask to change one thing...May the next year be filled with health and happiness to all the girls are their familes...WE Luv you all...................
